Accountant by profession, he has held key leadership roles across prominent Maldives industrial fisheries company limited, demonstrating a strong track record in financial management, sales, marketing, and executive decision-making.

Mr. Ahmed Shifaz
Non-Executive Director
Ahmed Shifaz, appointed to the Board on 25th April 2024, brings over 15 years of extensive experience in implementing fisheries infrastructure related projects, including MIFCO facilities development and upgrade work. His impactful roles span from Director, Program Assistant, Assistant Director, Senior Research Officer to Assistant Project Officer at the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources.
Shifaz, is currently pursuing Masters of Business Administration from the University of West of England and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science from the University of the South Pacific Suva, Fiji Islands.

Ms. Munshidha Ibrahim
Non-Executive Director
Munshidha Ibrahim, appointed to the Board on 1st April 2024. She currently serves as a Director at the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources. Her expertise lies in the field of biodiversity and marine resource management. As the head of Fisheries Management Section, she provides technical support in developing and implementing the fisheries management framework for the Maldives, as well as in policy planning and analysis. Her strengths include strong negotiation and networking skills.
Munshidha holds a MSc in Conservation Science and Policy from the University of Exeter, UK and holds a BA. in Environmental Studies from the Australian National University, Australia.

Mr. Ahmed Yamin
Non-Executive Director
Ahmed Yamin, appointed to the Board on 1st April 2024, brings over 20 years of extensive experience in management, procurement, project management and finance to his role. Currently leading the Corporate Department of the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, he demonstrates exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills. Throughout his career, Yamin has displayed a commitment to excellence, blending strategic thinking with operational efficiency.
Yamin holds a Master of Business Administration from Open University, Malaysia and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts and Business Administration from Segi University, Malaysia awarded by University of Sunderland (UK).

Mr. Adam Manik
Non-Executive Director
Adam Manik, appointed to the Board on 9th May 2024, has more than 34 years of immense experience and expertise in the fisheries sector. Currently serving as the Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, since 2011 has held various other key positions at the Ministry from Director, Senior Project Officer, Project Officer, Assistant Project Officer and Secretary. His progressive growth proves his commitment and dedication to work. Adam has managed and coordinated various fisheries development projects and provides training on value-addition of fishery products, establishing small scale fishery businesses and marketing.
Adam, holds a Masters of Science in Food Technology (Quality Assurance) from University of Reading, UK.

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim
Managing Director/ Executive
Appointed as Managing Director on 14th September 2025, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim brings over 10 years of leadership experience in management, human resources, and procurement. He currently also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Liminos Private Limited.
Dr. Ibrahim has held key positions across both public and private sectors, including Secretary General of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission, Assistant Director at the Drug Court, HR Officer at the Maldives Red Crescent, and HR Executive at Eriyadu Island Resort.
He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Victoria University, Switzerland, an MBA from Open University Malaysia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bangalore University, India.
Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is recognized for his results-driven leadership and strategic approach to organizational growth and operational excellence.
