Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim 

Managing Director

Appointed as Managing Director on 14th September 2025, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim brings over 10 years of leadership experience in management, human resources, and procurement. He currently also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Liminos Private Limited.

Dr. Ibrahim has held key positions across both public and private sectors, including Secretary General of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission, Assistant Director at the Drug Court, HR Officer at the Maldives Red Crescent, and HR Executive at Eriyadu Island Resort.

He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Victoria University, Switzerland, an MBA from Open University Malaysia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bangalore University, India.

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is recognized for his results-driven leadership and strategic approach to organizational growth and operational excellence.

Abdullah Waheed
Head of Procurement

Abdulla joined the Corporation on 11th September 2024 as the Head of Procurement. 

Abdulla has extensive experience and knowledge in the field of procurement. His expertise and extensive experience in the field of procurement is a great asset to the Company. Abdulla is responsible for streamlining the procurement activities to good governance and implementing as per corporate best practices. He has worked on major projects with the World Bank and UNDP as a procurement specialist in the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy. Abdulla has also served in the Board of Directors of Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) from 2021 to 2023.


Aminath Shausan Afeef
Head of Corporate Affairs

Aminath Shausan joined the Corporation as the Head of Corporate Affairs on 27th June 2024. Shausan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience and deep knowledge of corporate governance and policy, providing invaluable expertise to the Corporation. As the head of Corporate Affairs, she is responsible for leading corporate governance, compliance, external communications, and strategic planning functions within the organization.

Her previous positions include Assistant Manager Corporate Affairs at Dhiraagu Plc, Assistant Director Policy Planning, Senior Economic Affairs Officer at the Ministry of Economic Development and Planning Officer in the Ministry of Planning and National Development. She has also served in various government boards, including the Tender Evaluation Committee of Ministry of Finance and Treasury and Thauleemee Fund Committee of Ministry of Education. 

She holds an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts (special) in Economics from the University of Pune, India.

Mariyam Azka
Head of Human Resources

Mariyam Azka joined the Corporation as the Head of Human Resources, effective July 8, 2024. With over a decade of experience in Human Resources Management and Administration, Azka brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the team. She will oversee all HR and Administration functions and play a key part in aligning HR strategies with the Corporation’s business objectives to foster a productive and inclusive work environment. 

Azka has held significant roles in esteemed organizations, including Villa College, Tree Top Health, and Bank of Maldives. Most recently, she served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Bank of Maldives, where she successfully managed recruitment operations and enhanced the overall recruitment process. 

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Management from the University of the West of England.
